Our 25 million dollar newly renovated building allows for persons who are 55 and older, elderly, handicap or disable. We offer one and two bedroom units with onsite amenities such as a large laundry room on the first floor, and three smaller laundry rooms on the upper floor, a large community center where scheduled activities are held, on site doctors’ office, 24 hour security, gated parking lot, an indoor mini store and more.
Since this property is owned and managed by a Public Housing Authority, all of the rents at this property are based on tenant incomes. Tenants will make a monthly contribution toward rent equal to 30% of their adjusted income. A housing authority may establish a minimum rent of up to $50.
Generally, households earning up to the income limit in the table below for their household size are eligible for units participating in a HUD rental assistance program in New Orleans but actual income limits may differ for units at Guste Homes High Rise.
