St Cyr Court, Laundry Village and Hazard Towers Waiting List

The South Portland Housing Authority (SPHA) is accepting Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for Efficiency, 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments at St Cyr Court, Laundry Village and Hazard Towers from the earliest confirmed open date of June 17, 2024, until November 30, 2024.

This waiting list is for the following properties:

St Cyr Court - 1700 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106. Offering 1 and 2-bedroom units.
Hazard Towers - 425 Broadway South Portland, ME. Offering efficiency, one and two-bedroom units.
Landry Village - 1-50 Landry Circle South Portland, ME. Offering one and two-bedroom units.

Please note: According to the SPHA "Applicants must be elderly and handicapped or disabled persons."

Preferences

This waiting list has the following preferences:

Low-income 55 years or older
Elderly (62+)
Handicapped
Disabled persons 18 years of age and over.

Selection Process

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.

Application Method

To apply while the waitlist is open, print the paper application.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be: Returned to the SPHA office, located at 100 Waterman Dr, Suite 101, South Portland, Maine 04106.

St. Cyr Court (also known as 1700 Broadway or Broadway West) is comprised of 100 one-bedroom units. These units are for elderly and handicapped or disabled persons. All persons living in one of these Public Housing units must meet the requirements established by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Residents pay 30% of their income for rent.
