The renovation of the Hotel Buckman and the old Fire House resulted in the substantial rehabilitation of both buildings into 27 one-bedroom apartments and a community support space for a congregate senior project now known as Buckman Apartments. The first floor contains the majority of the congregate support spaces including a dining room, serving kitchen, lounge, administration office, laundry, fitness room, beauty/barber shop,and a controlled outdoor patio/walking area. The remainder of the first floors of both buildings, as well as the upper floors, contain living units. The apartments range in size from 575 square feet to 600 square feet. Each apartment consists of a combined living/dining room, full kitchen, full bath and bedroom. All units are handicap accessible and two are handicapped equipped. We also have raised garden beds in a courtyard for garden lovers!

This property has received funding in part through the Section 515 Rural Rental Housing (Section 515) program. Very low, low, and moderate income families, elderly persons, and persons with disabilities are eligible to live at this property. Persons or Families living in substandard housing have priority for tenancy.
The property participates in the USDA Rural Development Rental Assistance program. This rental subsidy, available only to USDA Section 514, 515 and 516 properties, ensures renters only pay 30% of their adjusted income towards rent. USDA Rural Development Rental Assistance may not be available for all units at this property.
Generally, households earning up to the income limit in the table below for their household size are eligible for units participating in a HUD rental assistance program in Little Falls but actual income limits may differ for units at Buckman Senior Apartments.
