The region is primarily an agricultural community steeped in the values and traditions of family farms. In addition to our history of agriculture, Chillicothe also has outstanding schools and manufacturing, one of Missouri's most modern correctional facilities, and boasts outstanding recreational facilities such as the Grand River YMCA and Chilli Bay Water Park, as well as rivers and lakes for great fishing and well known hunting areas nearby. Our newly completed rehabilitation at Shawnee Trails Apartments is part of our contribution to this fine community in northwestern Missouri.
Because it participates in the USDA Section 515 Rural Rental Housing program, Shawnee Place Apartments is likely located in a rural community and may be one of only a few rental housing choices in the area.
