Since this property is a LIHTC property that might not have a project based rental assistance contract, it is likely that it either has no waiting list or the waiting list is shorter than properties with rental assistance. You should contact the property to verify.
Note: Affordable Housing Online has not confirmed the waiting list status directly with the property. This waiting list status forecast is based on our housing experts' knowledge of similar properties. You should always confirm this status directly with the property.
Heritage Village at Ocean is a 55+ Adult Community located in beautiful Ocean Township, Monmouth County. Nestled in a secluded, tranquil, preserved wooded setting with acres of mature trees and the beautiful sounds of nature, these spacious 1 bedroom /1 bath apartment homes feature bright airy living rooms and bedrooms. The apartments have nicely appointed new carpet, fresh paint and window coverings.
It doesn't stop there; all apartments have central air and gas heat, as well as a LARGE walk in closet, washer/dryer and full size appliances. This community also features common areas that are both spacious and relaxing. In the summer, you can sit by the pool, play tennis or just relax. In the winter, you can grab a book from their library in the club house and spend the day reading next to the fire place or come and play Bingo with your neighbors any season.
Because Heritage Village at Ocean participates in HUD's HOME program for rental housing and the LIHTC program, at least some of the units in this property are set aside for households earning 60% or less of the AMI and rents are capped at the local FMR and in many cases much lower. Depending on the number of HOME-designated units, additional units may have even lower household income requirements and corresponding lower rent caps.
