Bridge Community consists of four buildings with 36 affordable units that New Destiny originally renovated in 1989, 1999 and 2005. In 2017-18, the buildings were substantially rehabilitated to ensure their future as viable affordable rental projects. Building-wide renovations included new roofs, joist replacement as needed, new/improved lighting and upgrades/repairs in public areas, masonry repairs, new heating systems, security cameras and new landscaping including the addition of a children’s play area. Apartment upgrades included new bath and kitchen fixtures, new appliances, floor replacements, tiling and painting.
