The Rutland Housing Authority (RHA) Public Housing waiting list is currently open, since at least May, 2015, until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.
There are three ways to apply:
Once the application is completed, it must be mailed or hand delivered to Rutland Housing Authority, 5 Tremont Street, Rutland, VT 05701.
Copies of the following additional documents are required for all members of the household: Birth certificate, Social Security card.
This waiting list has the following preferences:: elderly, disabled, living and/or working in the state of Vermont, employed, or a victim of domestic violence.

Rutland Housing Authority has preferences for: Elderly, Victims of Domestic Violence, Live, Work, or Attend School Locally. Preferences are not required but Public Housing applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.
