There are five (5) waiting lists for low-income housing that open across the country next week! Preparing early for an upcoming opening helps you be ready to apply when the waiting list opens, which may help you get housing over others.
Tip: Applicants do not need to live in the area to apply to most waiting lists.
Get ready to apply to the major waiting lists that are opening between April 15 and 19, 2024:
Aurora, Colorado Section 8, Mainstream, NED and Project-Based Voucher Waiting Lists
The Aurora Housing Authority (AHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice, Mainstream, Non-Elderly Disabled, and Project Based Voucher waiting list applications from April 15, 2024 at 12:00 pm, until May 31, 2024 at 12:00 pm MDT.
Reading, Pennsylvania Public Housing Waiting Lists
The Reading Housing Authority (RHA) will accept Family, and Senior/Disabled Public Housing waiting list applications from April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am, until April 17, 2024 at 12:00 am ET.
Laurens County, South Carolina Section 8 Voucher Waiting List
The South Carolina Regional Housing Authority No. 1 (SCRHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Laurens County from April 15, 2024, until April 30. 2024. This is the first time the waiting list will be open since September, 2017.
There are no new waiting list openings next Tuesday.
Pasquotank + 9 Counties in North Carolina Section 8 Voucher Waiting List
The Economic Improvement Council, Inc (EIC) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Hyde, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Tyrrell and Washington County from April 17, 2024 at 8:30 am ET, until further notice.
Springfield, Florida Elderly or Disabled Section 8 Waiting List
The Housing Authority of Springfield (HAS) will accept Elderly or Disabled Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 17, 2024 at 8:00 am CT, until 250 applications have been accepted.
There are no new waiting list openings next Thursday.
There are no new waiting list openings next Friday.
