The Housing Authority of Henry County (HAHC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from September 18, 2018 at 8:30 am CT, until further notice. It was last open in June, 2016.

There are two ways to apply:

  1. Download and print the application online.
  2. Pick up an application at the HAHAC administration office, located at 125 N. Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443, from 8:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

  1. Dropped off the application at the HAHAC administration office, located at 125 N. Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443, from 8:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
  2. Mailed to:

This waiting list has the following preferences: Terminated from HCV program due to lack of funding; Live, work or hired to work in Henry or Stark County; Working in Henry or Stark County for 20+ hours; Victims of Domestic Violence.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
