The Orange County Housing Authority (OCHA) is accepting Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications at Mesa Vista Apartments from January 8, 2024, until further notice.

This waiting list is for the following property:

Mesa Vista Apartments - located at 2274 Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA 92627

Please note: According to the OCHA public notice "Admission preference will be given to applicants who are experiencing homelessness, eligible for services under the Special Needs Housing Program, and referred by the Orange County Coordinated Entry System (CES) to OCHA."

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

Call the OCHA office at (714) 480-2700 for an application.
Call 2-1-1 Orange County at (888) 600-4357 to be connected to CES access point.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

Homelessness and meet the Veterans Affairs Supporting Housing (HUD-VASH) eligible for services under the Special Needs Housing Program.
Applicants referred by the Orange County Coordinated Entry System (CES) to OCHA.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
