Kottinger Gardens Phase 2 will involve the demolition of the existing 40-unit Pleasanton Gardens and the construction of 54-units of senior affordable housing on a 1.95 acre site. Kottinger Gardens Phase 2 will be across the street from the 131-unit Kottinger Gardens Phase 1, which was completed October 2017. The property will consist of one two-story building and five single-story cottages. All of the units include kitchens, accessible bathrooms, and ample storage space. The two-story building will include office space, laundry facilities, a multipurpose room, and common areas. There will be 44 surface parking stalls along the perimeter of the site, 20 of which will be covered by carports. The property will also be landscaped throughout the site and will include 14 planter boxes.

Since this property has received funding in part through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, a certain number of units are set aside for lower income households. Households must earn either less than 50% or 60% of the area median income (depending on the set-aside option chosen by the property owner) to qualify for these units. Rents in these units are capped at a maximum of 30% of the set-aside area median income (adjusted for unit size).
