Huntington Apartments is centrally located at Milwaukee Avenue and Maryland just off Dempster Avenue. Centrally located to shopping malls, restaurants, churches, Fire and Police departments, fitness centers, hospitals and libraries. Niles Township is adjacent to Skokie, Lincolnwood, Golf, Glenview and Morton Grove. Social service programs are provided throughout the community of Niles and inside the Huntington building. Computer classes, blood pressure, lectures, bingo and tours are just a few of the activities that take place for the residents of Huntington. The Huntington property and all of its amenities makes Niles a great place to live.
Since Huntington Apartments participates in the RAD Section 8 Project-Based Section 8 Program, your rent would be subsidized. You would not pay more than 30% of your income for rent. To qualify, you must earn 50% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI), which you can find on this page’s income chart. Also, project-based RAD Section 8 properties tend to have longer waiting lists, with some with waiting lists going out for years. Since this property participates in the RAD Section 8 Project Based Rental Assistance program and has a property based subsidy, if you have a Section 8 voucher, you would have to give up your voucher to move in.

"After years of applying for Section 8 and never being called, this website is the reason I finally received my voucher, and just moved into my new apartment! If I had not started receiving alerts from Affordable Housing Online of waiting list openings in my area, I would not be where I am today!"
