Geneva Courtyard Apartments is a family development located at 10 Goodman Street in Geneva, consisting of 124 townhouse-style units with 1- to 5-bedrooms. Onsite amenities include a site office staffed daily Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM – 4 PM, laundry facilities, a Community Room, children’s playground, and ample off-street parking. Washers and dryers are included in each unit. A basic cable TV package is made available to residents at a discounted price if they choose. The Boys and Girls Clubs Youth Center and an independently-operated childcare facility are also located on the premises. The Courtyard Apartments Administration Building is a regular stop on the Regional Transit System bus route. This LIHTC property is among the most common types of affordable rental housing in the United States. The LIHTC program only provides subsidies to the building’s owner at construction. The LIHTC program doesn't provide direct subsidies to the residents, but the owner must set rents affordable to low-income renters in the area.
