The Homes for Good Section 8 Project-based Voucher waiting list for 3-Bedroom apartments at Sarang is closed.

The Homes for Good last accepted applications for this waiting list from October 19, 2021, until October 26, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

4 Persons $35,600
5 Persons $38,450
6 Persons $41,300
7 Persons $44,150

This waiting list had the following preferences:

Bethel School Districts McKinney-Vinto Services which guarantees education rights and support for children and youth who meet the definition of homeless under the McKinney-Vento Act.
Lane County's Wildfire Recovery Services for Wildfire Survivors.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.

This newly built complex located at 1604 Taney St. includes eight residential buildings and a community building for a total of nine buildings. The residential portion of the site will total approximately 61,000 square feet, with an approximate additional 3,000 square feet for bike storage, trash enclosures, and other unheated space. The community room creates a gathering space for residents and include ample space for on-site resident services such as employment counseling, financial literacy classes and reading and after school classes for children. Additionally, the layout includes 51 parking spaces, a play area, and laundry facilities to support the overall eight (8) 2-bedroom units, thirty-three (33) 3-bedroom units, and eight (4) 4-bedroom units. The community features onsite laundry facilities, and 3-, and 4-bedroom units also include washer & Dryer hook-ups.
