Church Street Station Studios is a mixed-income community with a blend of units for formerly homeless persons and low-income persons and is a permanent rental housing complex. Each unit comes fully furnished with a bed, nightstand, dresser, table, two chairs, kitchenette with full refrigerator and range oven, and full bathroom. Building amenities include a community room, a computer room, a fitness room, resident phone room, laundry facilities, a front desk, and staff offices. The front desk is staffed sixteen hours per day with a night monitor on duty at night.
Because Church Street Station Studios participates in HUD's HOME program for rental housing and the LIHTC program, at least some of the units in this property are set aside for households earning 60% or less of the AMI and rents are capped at the local FMR and in many cases much lower. Because of the LIHTC program, additional units are set aside for households earning 50% or less of the AMI with corresponding lower rent caps.
