This waiting list is for Other Senior and Disabled rental housing assistance in King County, Washington.
The King County Housing Authority (KCHA) last accepted Senior (55+)/Disabled Subsidized Housing waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed date of September, 2018, until December 15, 2023. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.
There were two ways to apply while the waiting list was open:
Once the paper application was completed it was to be mailed or hand delivered to one of the property management offices, or to the King County Housing Authority.
This waiting list had the following preferences: Extremely low income, homeless, substandard housing, displaced by government action, displaced by natural disaster, victim of domestic violence, and rent burdened.
It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.

Senior (55+)/Disabled Subsidized Housing has preferences for: Displaced by Natural Disaster, Victims of Domestic Violence, Homeless, Displaced by Government Action, Live in Substandard Housing, Rent Burdened, Extremely Low-Income Households. Preferences are not required but Senior and Disabled applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.

Applying for housing with bad credit.
Some housing assistance programs require a credit check, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit apartments. Having bad credit may make you ineligible.Lisa Selby says:
