Affordable Housing Online has announced four new Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list openings this week!

The City and County of Honolulu Community Assistance Division (CAD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list will open for five days in February, 2023.
The online application will be available from February 6, 2023 at 7:45 am, until February 10, 2023 at 4:30 pm HT.
After the waitlist closes, the CAD will select 3,000 applicants by random lottery. Preferences for the waiting list have not yet been confirmed.
The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) is opening two Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher programs in February.
The BCHA will open its general Section 8 HCV and Mainstream HCV programs for one day only, on February 8th.
The Mainstream Voucher program is for households with a person "between the ages of 18 and 61 years of age with a documented disability and be under 50% of the Area Median Income limit for Boulder County."
Applications for this waiting list will be available online only, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm MT.
The County of Hawaii Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) waiting list for the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance HOME program opened Thursday, January 19th.
The HOME program is a tenant-based rental assistance program for low-income households. "Depending on available funding, the TBRA program can provide housing assistance for a maximum of 24 months," according to the OHCD public notice.
There are preferences, and the date and time the application is submitted does affect waiting list placement.
