The Hialeah Housing Authority (HHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 22, 2024 at 8:30 am, until April 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in June, 2021.
The Housing Authority of the City of Hartford (HACH) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 23, 2024 at 9:00 am, until April 26, 2024 at 4:30 pm ET. The HACH will also accept Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications. 3,000 applications will be placed on each waiting list. This is the first time the HCV waiting list has been open since it closed in June, 2021.
The Citrus County Housing Services Division (HSD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from May 1, 2024 at 9:00 am, until May 7, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in July, 2021.
The Arlington Housing Authority (AHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 26, 2024 at 9:00 am, until May 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2023.
The Housing Authority of the City of Aurora (HACA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 15, 2024 at 12:00 pm, until May 31, 2024 at 12:00 pm MDT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in May, 2023.
The St. Louis Housing Authority (SLHA) accepted Public Housing waiting list applications for 1-5 Bedroom Apartments at Multiple Properties from April 23, 2024 at 8:00 am, until April 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm CT.
This waiting list is for the following properties:
Section 8 vouchers can be moved to another area.
Once certain conditions are met, a Section 8 voucher may be transferred to another area (known as "porting").Linda Kenney says:
