The Rochester Housing Authority (RHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 23, 2024 at 12:00 pm, until June 7, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in December, 2019.
The Reno Housing Authority (RHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher wait list applications from April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am, until May 3, 2024 at 5:00 pm PT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in August, 2019.
The West Orange Public Housing Agency (WOPHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 3, 2024 at 8:30 am ET, until 300 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2016.
Announced during New York City's State of the City address by NYC Mayor Eric Adams, the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) Section 8 Housing Voucher Waiting List will open on a date to be announced in 2024. NYCHA last accepted Section 8 HCV applications in December, 2009.
The Texas City Housing Authority (TCHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 22, 2024 at 8:00 am, until April 26, 2024 at 12:00 pm CT.
The Housing Authority of the City of Hartford (HACH) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 23, 2024 at 9:00 am, until April 26, 2024 at 4:30 pm ET. The HACH will also accept Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications. 3,000 applications will be placed on each waiting list. This is the first time the HCV waiting list has been open since it closed in June, 2021.
The Hialeah Housing Authority (HHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 22, 2024 at 8:30 am, until April 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in June, 2021.
The South Carolina Regional Housing Authority No. 1 (SCRHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Laurens County from April 15, 2024, until April 30. 2024. This is the first time the waiting list will be open since September, 2017.
The Arlington Housing Authority (AHA) accepts Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 26, 2024 at 9:00 am, until May 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2023.
The Citrus County Housing Services Division (HSD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from May 1, 2024 at 9:00 am, until May 7, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in July, 2021.
The Glens Falls Housing Authority (GFHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 4, 2024 at 9:00 am, until March 8, 2024 at 3:30 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in September, 2020.
The Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 11, 2024 at 9:00 am, until May 31, 2024 at 4:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in December, 2022.
The Housing Authority of the City of Aurora (HACA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 15, 2024 at 12:00 pm, until May 31, 2024 at 12:00 pm MDT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in May, 2023.
The Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority (SFCHA) accepts Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications twice a month on Wednesdays from January 10, 2024 at 10:00 am, until December 4, 2024 at 4:00 pm MT.
The Chautauqua Opportunities Inc (COI) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Chautauqua County from December 20, 2023, until December 27, 2024.
The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for Carmelitos Family, Harbor Hills Family, South Scattered Family Sites, East County Family Sites and Quartz Hill Family Apartments from April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am, until April 30, 2024, 11:59 pm PT. The LACDA is also accepting Senior Public Housing waiting list applications for Carmelitos Senior, South Bay Gardens Senior, East County Senior Sites, West Knoll/Palm Senior, Marina Manor Senior, Orchard Arms Senior and Foothill Villa Senior Apartments.

Wait until you have a Section 8 voucher to find housing.
