The Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is open, since at least March, 2017, until further notice.
There are four ways to apply:
Once the application has been completed, it must be mailed to the LMHA, P.O. Box 189, Louisville, KY 40201. Applications will not be accepted by fax, email or in person.

The Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) Public Housing waiting list is currently open, since at least March, 2017, until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.
To apply, download and print the application online. Select the "Application for Public Housing" or "Application for Public Housing (Spanish)" link.
Once the application has been completed, it must be mailed or hand delivered to the LMHA at 420 South 8th Street, Louisville, KY 40203, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
This waiting list has the following preferences: Displaced victims of domestic violence, displaced by government action, rent burden, substandard living conditions, or homeless.
