This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in St. Lawrence County, New York.

The St. Lawrence County Community Development Program (CDP) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications are being accepted from January 6, 2020, until an unconfirmed closed date. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period: 

  1. Print the paper application online.
  2. Complete an application in person at the CDP office.

Once the application was completed, it was to be returned to the CDP office.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

  • 1: $13,900-$23,200
  • 2: $16,910-$26,500
  • 3: $21,330-$29,800
  • 4: $25,750-$33,100
  • 5: $30,170-$35,570
  • 6: $34,590-$38,400
  • 7: $39,010-$41,050
  • 8: $43,430-$43,700

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.

  • 4: $25,750-$33,100
  • 5: $30,170-$35,570

  • 8: $43,430-$43,700

This waiting list is for Other Tenant-Based rental housing assistance in St. Lawrence County, New York.

The St. Lawrence County Community Development Program (CDP) Housing Choice Voucher Tenant Based waiting list is currently open.

The CDP is accepting applications for this waiting list from the earliest confirmed date of November 15, 2022, until further notice.

There are three ways to apply during the opening period: 

  1. Print the paper application online.
  2. Complete an application in person at the CDP office, located at 1 Commerce Lane, Canton, NY 13617.
  3. Call (315) 386-1102 to request an application.

Once the application has been completed, it must be returned to the CDP office, address mentioned above.

The maximum income limit for each household size are as follows:

  • 1 Person $14,600 | 5 Persons $31,040
  • 2 Persons $17,420 | 6 Persons $35,580
  • 3 Person $21,960 | 7 Persons $40,120
  • 4 Persons $26,500 | 8 Persons $44,660
