The St. Lawrence County Community Development Program (CDP) Housing Choice Voucher Tenant Based waiting list is currently open.

The CDP is accepting applications for this waiting list from the earliest confirmed date of November 15, 2022, until further notice.

There are three ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Print the paper application online.
2. Complete an application in person at the CDP office, located at 1 Commerce Lane, Canton, NY 13617.
3. Call (315) 386-1102 to request an application.

Once the application has been completed, it must be returned to the CDP office, address mentioned above.

The maximum income limit for each household size are as follows:

• 1 Person $14,600 | 5 Persons $31,040
• 2 Persons $17,420 | 6 Persons $35,580
• 3 Person $21,960 | 7 Persons $40,120
• 4 Persons $26,500 | 8 Persons $44,660

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
