There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

300 applicants were placed on the Mayslake Village, 1-Bedroom waiting list.
300 applicants were placed on the Naperville Elderly Homes, 1-Bedroom waiting list.
300 applicants were placed on the Woodridge Horizons, 1-Bedroom waiting list.

Mayslake Village has provided affordable senior housing in the Chicago area since 1965. As one of the largest Federally funded senior developments in the United States, Mayslake Village is considered one of the country's outstanding HUD projects, and has become a model for other residential communities that offer affordable senior housing.

THE VILLAGE
At Mayslake Village we are home to more than 600 individuals with the average resident being 80 years old.
These well elderly have the ability to care for themselves in a residence that allows each person their independence in a caring environment.
Mayslake Village provides an array of supportive services designed to allow residents to live their retirement years with dignity, maintain maximum functional status, and avoid premature institutionalization.
This property participates in the Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance program meaning the rent for many, if not all, units is based on a tenant's income. You would not pay more than 30% of your income for rent. To qualify, you must earn 50% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI), which you can find on this page’s income chart. Also, project-based Section 8 properties tend to have longer waiting lists, with some with waiting lists going out for years. This property was also financed through a HUD-insured private mortgage meaning the owner has oversight from both a private bank and HUD. This usually means Mayslake Village is kept in good condition.
