Since this property is a LIHTC property that might not have a project based rental assistance contract, it is likely that it either has no waiting list or the waiting list is shorter than properties with rental assistance. You should contact the property to verify.
Note: Affordable Housing Online has not confirmed the waiting list status directly with the property. This waiting list status forecast is based on our housing experts' knowledge of similar properties. You should always confirm this status directly with the property.
Parkside Village is a 104-unit community comprised of studios, one and two-bedroom apartment homes. All of Parkside’s studios and one-bedroom units are single-level, ground-floor apartments while Parkside’s two-bedroom units are all “townhouse style,” featuring a main-floor kitchen, living and dining room with bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. There are twelve residential buildings on the property with one centrally-located laundry room and leasing office, which is staffed by full-time management and maintenance personnel. One pet cat is allowed per household. There is ample off-street parking throughout the property.
Parkside Village, including a playground and several lawn areas, is shaded by over 100 pine and maple trees, which help give the community a park-like feeling within the desirable Lewis & Clark neighborhood on Missoula’s south side. Neighborhood amenities include a park with natural duck ponds directly across the street as well as numerous grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacies, dental clinics, fitness centers, churches, baseball fields and a water park, all located within one block of the property. Russell Elementary School, Sentinel High School and the Missoula County Fairgrounds are also within half a mile of Parkside Village and the zero-fare Mountain Line bus stops at our property. Parkside Village is an ideal choice for individuals and families of all ages.
Because Parkside Village Apartments participates in HUD's HOME program for rental housing and the LIHTC program, at least some of the units in this property are set aside for households earning 60% or less of the AMI and rents are capped at the local FMR and in many cases much lower. For a HOME project of this size, some of the units are set aside for households at or below 50% AMI with a corresponding lower rent cap. As this property appears not to have a project-based subsidy or any other Federal assistance, you likely will have to pay your own rent, albeit, at a lower rent amount thanks to the HOME and LIHTC programs. Since this property participates in the HOME and LIHTC programs, the property is required to accept Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.
