Family Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) last accepted Family Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for apartments at Westlawn Gardens, Scattered Sites and Town Homes at Carver Park Apartments from December 15, 2021, until further notice. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was the following properties:

Westlawn Gardens has 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5-Bedroom units.
Scattered Sites have 2, 3, 4 and 5-Bedroom units.
Town Homes at Carver Park has 3, 4 and 5-Bedroom units.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

1 person $29,550 | 5 persons $45,600
2 persons $33,800 | 6 persons $49,000
3 persons $38,000 | 7 persons $52,350
4 persons $42,200 | 8 persons $55,750

This waiting list had the following preferences:

Westlawn Gardens, is for families of 1 or more persons.
Scattered Sites, is for families of 2 or more persons.
Town Homes at Carver Park, is for families of 3 or more persons.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

The Berryland neighborhood offers market housing that is priced affordably in a park-like setting on Milwaukee’s north side near the intersection of N. Sherman Boulevard and W. Florist Avenue. In addition to many other local amenities, residents of Berryland enjoy the programs and services of Agape Community Center, which is located in the heart of the neighborhood. Originally constructed in 1950 to provide housing for veterans, Berryland now offers 391 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartment homes to a wide variety of families.
