There are seven (7) waiting lists for low-income housing that open across the country next week!
Waiting lists for affordable rental housing are opening on two days in a row next week. The types of housing these waiting lists will be open for include Section 8 Vouchers, Project-Based Vouchers, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit apartments.
These are the waiting lists opening between June 10-14, 2024:
New Rochelle, New York Section 8 Voucher Waiting List
Starting off for Monday, the City of New Rochelle PHA (CNRPHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 10, 2024, until June 17, 2024.

Fort Worth, Texas PBV Waiting List
Next, Fort Worth Housing Solutions (FWHS) will accept Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications from June 10, 2024 at 8:00 am, until June 14, 2024 at 11:59 pm CT.

Rockland County, New York PBV Waiting List
Also, the Town of Ramapo Housing Authority (RHA) will accept Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for Studio and 1-Bedroom Apartments at the Catamount and Pondview sites from June 10, 2024 at 9:00 am, until June 19, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida PBV Waiting List
In addition. the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Lauderdale (HACFL) will accept Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for Federal Apartments from June 10, 2024, until 300 applications are received.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Senior and Disabled LIHTC Waiting List
Next up, the Northampton County Housing Authority (NHCA) will accept Senior and Disabled Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) waiting list applications for 1-Bedroom apartments at Goepp Street Apartments from June 10, 2024 at 9:00 am ET, until further notice.

New Smyrna, Florida Senior PBV Waiting List
Additionally, the New Smyrna Beach Housing Authority (NSBHA) will accept Senior Project Based Voucher waiting list applications from June 10, 2024 at 8:00 am ET, until 300 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2024.

DeLand, Florida Section 8 Voucher Waiting List
And for Tuesday, the DeLand Housing Authority (DHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 11, 2024 at 9:00 am ET, until 1,000 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in January, 2022.
