48 units offering one and two bedrooms.
In a partnership with DFA Development, the Housing Authority County of San Joaquin (HACSJ) is thrilled to announce Cottage Village Apartments, a facility of affordable housing for income-eligible seniors in Manteca. The complex consists of 40 one-bedroom units and 8 two-bedroom units.
This project was made possible by funding from the City of Manteca, San Joaquin County, Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), and permanent financing. These units will receive Housing Choice Project-Based Vouchers rental subsidies.
Because Cottage Village Senior Apartments participates in HUD's HOME program for rental housing and the LIHTC program, at least some of the units in this property are set aside for households earning 60% or less of the AMI and rents are capped at the local FMR and in many cases much lower. Depending on the number of HOME-designated units, additional units may have even lower household income requirements and corresponding lower rent caps.
