Built in 2005, Arlington Estates Co-op is a 3-story, 68 unit community for independent senior citizens who are 62 years or older. It is nationally recognized as “A Community of Quality” by the National Affordable Housing Management Association.

Since this property was built using funding through HUD's Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly program, residency is restricted to persons who earn 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or less. Like other rental assistance programs like Section 8, resident's rents are based on their income and the tenant contribution is set at 30% of the tenants income.

You can make up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and be eligible for a Project Based Section 8 Program unit. Market rate units would have no subsidies or income restrictions.
