The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on May 6, 2024 from 8:00 am, until 8:00 pm PT. The HACA will also accept Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for 3 and 4-bedroom Apartments in Emeryville and Union City. According to the HACA, this is "a 1-day extension to the April 2024 waitlist opening. If you applied during the April waitlist opening, you do not need to take any action. All applications received in the previous April 2024 opening and this one-day opening will be entered into the lottery."
The Housing Authority of the City of High Point (HACHP) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 1, 2024 at 9:00 am, until September 30, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2019.
The Housing Authority of the City of Erie (HACE) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 13, 2024 at 8:30 am, until May 17, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in May, 2021.
The Rockland County Department of Social Services (RCDSS) will accept Section 8 Mainstream Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 13, 2024 at 8:00 am, until May 24, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in July, 2021.The RCDSS will also accept Senior Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for Youngblood Senior Housing, Walnut Hills Senior Housing, Depew Manor Senior Housing, Spring Valley Preservation and Spring Valley Site lll.
The Albemarle County Office of Housing (ACOH) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications from May 6, 2024 at 10:00 am, until May 13, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2023.
The Montclair Housing Authority (MHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications beginning on June 20, 2024 at 8:30 am ET, until 225 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has opened since 2007.
The Dickenson County Rental Assistance will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on May 8, 2024 from 9:00 am, until 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in August, 2023.
The West Orange Public Housing Agency (WOPHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 3, 2024 at 8:30 am ET, until 300 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2016.
The Reno Housing Authority (RHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher wait list applications from April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am, until May 3, 2024 at 5:00 pm PT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in August, 2019.
The Rochester Housing Authority (RHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 23, 2024 at 12:00 pm, until June 14, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in December, 2019.
This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans and Wayne County, New York.
