The Economic Improvement Council, Inc will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Camden, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Hyde, and Tyrrell County from April 13, 2022 at 8:30 am ET, until the maximum number of applications have been received for each county.
Preferences are not a requirement.
You should still consider applying to waiting lists with preferences you don't qualify for. There is still a chance to get housing.Rufus W. Bailey says:
