The San Francisco Housing Authority (SFHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from October 23, 2023 at 8:00 am, until November 6, 2023 at 5:00 pm PT.
The Grapevine Housing Authority (GHA) accepted Public Housing waiting list applications for Studio and 1-bedrrom apartments from November 1, 2023 at 10:00 am, until November 2, 2023 at 12:00 pm CT, or until 600 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list will be open since August, 2019.
Applying for housing with bad credit.
Most HUD housing programs, like Section 8 and Public Housing, do not have a credit check. But Section 8 landlords will likely require one for an available unit.Candice Bishop says:
