The City of Dubuque Housing and Community Development Department (CDHCDD) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on June 11, 2024 from 7:00 am, until 6:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in May, 2024.
The McHenry County Housing Authority (MCHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 5, 2024 at 8:30 am, until June 12, 2024 at 5:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2018.
The South Gate Housing Authority (SGHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 27, 2024 at 8:00 am, until June 10, 2024 at 11:59 pm PT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2016.
The Cleveland Housing Authority (CHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 29, 2024 at 10:00 am ET, until 100 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in September, 2021
The Logan County Housing Authority (LCHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm CT, until further notice. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in July, 2015.
The Jo Daviess County Housing Authority (JDCHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 15, 2024 at 12:01 am, until May 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2019.
The Prince William County Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) accepted Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on May 28, 2024 from 9:00 am, until 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2022.
The River Rouge Housing Commission (RRHC) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 22, 2024 at 12:00 am, until May 28, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2018.
The Housing Authority of the City of Marion (HACM) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 8, 2024, until May 30, 2024. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in June, 2023.
The Housing Authority of the City of Aurora (HACA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 15, 2024 at 12:00 pm, until May 31, 2024 at 12:00 pm MDT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in May, 2023.
The Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 11, 2024 at 9:00 am, until May 31, 2024 at 4:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in December, 2022.
The Selma Housing Authority (SHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 3, 2024 at 8:00 am, until June 3, 2024 at 5:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in August, 2023.
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 3, 2024 at 12:00 am, until June 9, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in December, 2009. After New York City Mayor Eric Adams made an an announcement in January that this waiting list will open, NYCHA has now given dates for the opening period.

The Rochester Housing Authority (RHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 23, 2024 at 12:00 pm, until June 14, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in December, 2019.

The City of New Rochelle PHA (CNRPHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 10, 2024, until June 17, 2024.
