Affordable Housing Online has announced six new Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list openings this week!

The Monmouth County Public Housing Agency (MCPHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 3, 2024, until June 7, 2024. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in June, 2019.
Boulder Housing Partners (BHP) will accept Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 25, 2024 at 9:00 am, until June 26, 2024 at 4:00 pm MT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in November, 2023.
To qualify: Applicants must be less than 62 years of age and a person with a disability.
The Housing Authority of the County of DeKalb (HACD) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 3, 2024, until 2,500 applications are received.
The Rice County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (RCHRA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 3, 2024 at 8:00 am, until August 2, 2024 at 4:30 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in June, 2022.
Please note: According to the HRA, "Applications will only be accepted from people who either live or work in Rice County. You will be required to provide proof of residency.
Belmont Housing Resources for WNY will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 10, 2024, until June 14, 2024.
The South Gate Housing Authority (SGHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 27, 2024 at 8:00 am, until June 10, 2024 at 11:59 pm PT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2016.
The McHenry County Housing Authority (MCHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 5, 2024 at 8:30 am, until June 12, 2024 at 5:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2018.
The North Charleston Housing Authority (NCHA) accepted Senior Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments for The Villas at Horizons Village from May 29, 2024 at 10:00 am CT, until June 11, 2024 at 12:00 am CT.

The NCHA is also accepting Senior Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1-Bedroom Apartments at The Villas at Horizons Village Apartments.
The Huntsville Housing Authority (HHA) accepted Senior and Disabled Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments at Monrovia Flats from June 24, 2024 at 8:00 am, until June 25, 2024 at 5:00 pm CT.

The Wayne Metropolitan Housing Authority (WMHA) accepted Interfaith Properties waiting list applications from June 1, 2024, until August 31, 2024. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in March, 2023.

The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) accepts Project Based waiting list applications for Willoughby Corner Phase 1 from June 25, 2024 at 8:30 am, until further notice.
